Delamine

The desire

 The board of chemical company delAmine was looking for an open and transparent workplace for 16 employees, fully equipped with all necessary facilities. The office space is located on the 10^th floor of a business centre in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and offers beautiful views of the city on all sides.  Stan: “The space presented a great challenge on its own due to its ship-shaped core. How to create the right atmosphere while including all facilities? That was the main question.”

The result

The core features spectacular photos of the company’s products: amines. A tunnel now runs straight through the centre core in which a kitchen area, storage space and copy room are located. The ship-shaped core in the centre of the space has become the beating facilitative heart of the office.

Keeping the windows free of office supplies created a 360 degree view of the city centre of Amersfoort and railway station. And the cladding of the core includes recesses to showcase amines produced and exported to over 50 countries by the company’s own factory in Delfzijl. Multiple museum lights provide striking illumination.
